How to stop linux sendmail service
Linux 系统如何关闭相关的服务项目，下面已关闭sendmail service为例：方法一：service sendmail stop
# service sendmail stop

注意：service命令虽然已经关掉了sendmial服务，但是在下次重新启动OS的时候，还是会随OS启动而启动。
方法二：chkconfig命令
# chkconfig --list sendmail
sendmail 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
可以看到在启动模式2/3/4/5都是默认启动的，通常生产系统我一般是3。
# chkconfig --level 2 sendmail off
# chkconfig --level 3 sendmail off
# chkconfig --level 4 sendmail off
# chkconfig --level 5 sendmail off
# chkconfig --list sendmail
#reboot 再重新启动是sendmail服务不自动启动了
