Cisco ACS 5.6 Installation
First of all enable “Hardware Virtualization in System BIOS” and save your BIOS settings.Then in VMWare Workstation create a new virtual machine with following specifications:[*]Operating System = Linux -> CentOS (32 bit)
[*]Memory = 2 GB
[*]Processor = 2
[*]Hard Disk = 60 GB
[*]CD/DVD Drive = Use ISO image file “ACS_v5.6.0.22.iso” for installation of Cisco ACS 5.6.
Power on this virtual machine and the installation of Cisco ACS 5.6 will be started.Enter boot option “1” to start “Cisco Secure ACS 5.6 Installation (Keyboard/Monitor)Type “setup” to configure Cisco ACS 5.6 appliance.After completion of installation and configuration of Cisco ACS 5.6, the appliance will be rebooted. After completion of its booting process it will present you with a screen to login in Cisco ACS 5.6 with username and password that you have configured in previous screen. i.e:Username = admin
Password = *************In next article, I shall present how to configure Cisco ACS 5.6 to interact with Cisco Router (ACS Client).
