recover Windows 7 boot partition overwritten by Linux Mint boot loader-estone
My Notebook installed with dual boot OS: Linux Mint 16 and Windows 7During Linux Mint 17 overwritting version 16, I selected the windows boot partition as the mint boot loader device by mistake, so windows 7 failed to start after the installation.
to recover the boot partition, boot the NB with windows 7 installation DVD, enter command prompt console under system fix window, run this command: bootrec/fixboot, then reboot, Linux Mint and Windows 7 all are OK.
